Tuleta is a census-designated place in Bee County, Texas. German Mennonite minister, Peter Unzicker founded the city in 1906. Amanda Stoltzfus structured the Tuleta Agriculture High the first of its kind in Texas in the year 1910. Oil and gas were later discovered in the city. Tuleta is served by the Pettus Independent School District. The community celebrates Tuleta Day on the second Saturday in August.
