Pilot Point is located in northeast Denton County, Texas. The DFW International and Alliance airports are two major transportation hubs located approximately forty five miles from Pilot Point. The city is home to the best acute and trauma care hospitals in Texas - Baylor Medical Center of Frisco and Parkland Hospital and Burn Center of Dallas. The Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch and the Pilot Point Community Opera House are important tourist spots.
