Lancaster is located in Dallas County, Texas and is part of the Best Southwest area, which includes Duncanville, Cedar Hill, Desoto and Lancaster. Lancaster was one of the first incorporated communities in the Dallas County. The city still holds the look and feel of a nineteenth century North Texas market place. Several retail shops and resort hotels attract plenty of tourists to the place.
